Established in 2006, our founder, James Stacey Floyd, decided to take a risk when he recognized he wanted to build something bigger than himself. As a result, he created a community of like-minded, warm-hearted, and family-oriented contractors. And thus was born; a team that was committed to quality and brought back the traditional southern charms of an honest smile and a firm handshake.

Today, that dream has held strong as JF Contractors has become a leading General Contractor in the tristate area solidifying consistent high-dollar bids with a reputation to attest. So much so, we were named Sumter’s Best Building Design Contractor of 2019 by The Item.

Located in the heart of South Carolina, our office is just east of Columbia. Being nestled in the historic town of Sumter, South Carolina; we take pride in contributing to the revival of this beautiful little gem, we call home.
